Trip Itinerary
Day 1 : Drive to Chitwan ( 5 hrs.) 310m
Drive along Prithvi Highway from Kathmandu or Pokhara.
Drive past Trishuli Riverside, Mulgling and Narayanghat Bazaar before you arrive at Chitwan.
You can choose driving by private car/jeep or tourist bus from Pokhara or Kathmandu to get Chitwan.
Arrive in Chitwan and attend some Chitwan National Park Activities like a short walk to the bank of Rapti River for sunset view, another walk to explore Tharu Village and attend Tharu people's cultural show in the evening.
Have authentic local dinner and stay overnight at hotel in Chitwan.
Day 2 : Full Day National Park Activities (6 hours)
You will enjoy Chitwan Park Activities for the whole day today.
After breakfast, you will go for canoe trip on Rapti river. While doing canoe trip, you will see various species of birds and crocodiles.
After canoe trip, you will enjoy a short jungle walk to spot wild animals like deer, tiger and one-horned rhino in Chitwan National Park.
You will also go to visit elephant breeding center after a short jungle walk.
Then, after lunch, you will board on jeep safari for 3-4 hours.
While doing jeep safari in Chitwan National Park, you can see a wide variety of birds, plants and animals like wild boar, deer, monkeys, one-horned rhino and Royal Bengali Tiger.
Finally, you will return back to hotel after exciting and adventurous jeep safari.
