The popular Tenjing-Hillary School is also located in Khumjung Village. The village offers you magnificent views of mountain summits including Mt. Everest. The visit and the exploration of Khumjung Village will be one of the best moments of your life.

The Thame Monastery is the oldest in the Khumbu region. Most people don’t have any idea bout this sacred site in the Khumbu region. The Thame Monastery is located eastward from Namche Bazaar at the lap of the rock. It takes 3-4 hours to walk to get to Thame Monastery from Namche Bazaar. The art and architecture of the monastery will astonish you upon your visit.

Everest Luxury Trek Meals and Accommodation

You can get almost all types of meals including continental, Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Nepali. Mostly, food items like breads, eggs, rice and curry, soups, dumplings, pizza etc. are very popular among the trekkers on 7 Days Everest Luxury Trek. Regarding the food and accommodation in Kathmandu, the trekkers will enjoy 5-star accommodation and food items. Our team will try their best to avail the best available food items and accommodation on the trekking days too.

Actually, during the trekking days, the guesthouses offer around 100 meal items on the menu and you can make choices among them and order. The cost of one item of food/meal ranges between USD 2-10. You can allocate the budget accordingly. The beverages will be extra for you.

To lessen the budget of food on you during the trek, you can carry some light snacks with you and, you can have them on the trail.

Regarding accommodation, normally, it will be twin-sharing accommodation if you are in the group but we guarantee you that the accommodation you are going to use will be very luxurious all around the trip including in Namche and Tengboche ( Optional)

You can get luxury accommodation in  Namche Bazaar, Phakding and Tengboche as well and don't worry about it.  If you are doing your Everest Luxury Trek dependently, then, you need to book your accommodation before the trip. The accommodation will be less standard during peak trekking seasons (Autumn -Sep-Nov and Spring-Mar-May) due to the crowd of people doing Everest trekking. One-night accommodation, normally, costs between USD 8 -15. But the luxury one may cost USD 20-30.

Optionally, you can go camping trekking for your food and accommodation if you want it and enjoy doing it. But, camping trekking is very costly and burdensome.

Internet/Wi-fi and Facility on Everest Luxury Trek

You can blissfully enjoy the Internet/Wi-fi facility on Everest Luxury Trek since it is located near Namche Bazaar and Tengboche. The towns you are passing through and where you are going to stay have good facilities for Internet/Wi-fi. All the towns like Lukla, Phakding, Namche and Tengboche have very good strength of Wi-fi facilities. So, you don’t need to worry about it.

Also, to have access to the internet on your smartphone, you can have a local SIM card like NCELL or NT in Kathmandu beforehand the trek and can run mobile data on your phone. This way, you will easily get access over your smartphone all around the Everest Luxury Trek. The majority of the tourists who are travelling in Nepal choose to do this.

If you are going to use the Wi-fi/internet offered by the local lodges/hotels/guesthouses, that’s also fine. But, in some cases, it may work slower since many people share the same Wi-fi/internet connection in the lodge. And, one more thing to say is: you have to pay for the internet/Wi-fi if you want to use the one offered by the lodge. You have to pay Rs. 200-500 per device. With this amount, you can run the internet as long as you want, it's unlimited.

Drinking Water Facility on Everest Luxury Trek

You won’t have any kind of drinking water facility on your Everest Luxury Trek. You have to arrange it all on your own. The majority of the trekkers get bottled water on the trail which is easily available and some of the trekkers ask the local lodges to boil the water for them and they carry it. Both options are open to you. If you prefer warm/hot water on the trail, you can ask the local lodges to boil it for you and they charge you some money like one litre Rs100-200. Or, if you buy bottled water, it costs Rs.150 which is a cold one.

But, don’t try to fill the water from local taps and streams on the trail. If you do like this, then, you may have the possibility of getting other minor/major sicknesses which can spoil your entire Everest Luxury Trek. You can get that water and can use a water-purifying tablet and use it.
