Our take-off site is at Sarangkot, and there are four flights (early morning, late morning, early afternoon, and late afternoon). The regular flights last for about 30 minutes, and the cross-country flights last for about an hour. Since Sarangkot is about 12 kilometers away from Lakeside, we arrange to pick up services for our clients. Our representatives will pick you up from Lakeside, and take you to Sarangkot in a private car.

Best seasons

Due to its sub-tropical climate, the city has stable thermals and wind almost throughout the year. Hence, as long as it does not rain, you shall get to enjoy paragliding in Pokhara at any time of the year. However, the best time would be from September through April. During May-August, the monsoon winds and frequent heavy rain make it unfavourable for the flight.

Must know information

Tandem Paragliding does not require any permit, but if you are a trained pilot and you want to fly solo, you will have to get your flying permit from the aviation office. The permit may cost about USD 50. In case you require any assistance, we are happy to help you.

However, there are fewer adverse weather and cancellations of flights during autumn, winter and spring. So, it is best to travel at the time between September, October, November, December, January, February, March April and May.
