MARDI HIMAL TREKKING
‘adventure around the high scenic ridges to other sanctuary at Mardi Himal’
Mardi Himal Trekking takes you on the high ridges in the close shade of massif Annapurna Himalaya. This special region was hidden for long decades, where early pioneers and explorers named the area an ‘Other Sanctuary’. Due to its proximity to Annapurna Sanctuary, separated by the deep gorge of the Modi River.
For many years, Mardi Himal was unknown, unmapped it was taken as the broken ridges of staggering Machhapuchare Himal. When western mountaineers flew close to Mt. Machhapuchare the famous Fish Tail, then they found Mardi Himal as a separate peak. Located, close to the southern flank of the great Machhapuchare Himal looks like an adjoining peak of Fish Tail. The Mardi Himal stands at 5,587 m / 18,325 feet high, on NMA (Nepal Mountaineering Association) list of trekking peaks.
A few groups of adventurers and trekkers often venture for the climb to the summit of Mardi Himal. The closest that one can reach next to Machhapuchare Himal, which is a virgin and forbidden peak to climb.
At present, in the past few decades, the areas around Mardi Himal are gaining much popular among trekkers. As this region is quite different from other main trekking routes, where one can enjoy being close to the massif Himalayas; in a short distance of time.
Haven Holidays Nepal, welcomes all adventures and trekkers to enjoy this short and wonderful trek to Mardi Himal. A moderate to adventurous walk with a touch of high altitude, suitable for all from beginners to veteran outdoor lovers.
Mardi Himal Trek starts and concludes at Pokhara, a city blessed with natural wonders of serene lakes and the mighty Himalayas. The adventure takes you from low warm farm villages toward high cooler hills and beyond human settlements.
The trail diverts from the main trekking routes towards sheer wilderness, as the walk follows through enchanting rhododendron and pine forest. Slowly the tree lines disappear reaching higher terrain at Mardi scenic View-Point, on the highest spot of the adventure.
Enjoy the marvelous and enjoyable moment, standing close beneath Mardi Himal and giant Machhapuchare Himal, the magnificent Fish-Tail peak.
The return journey leads on an alternative route downhill to low warmer farm villages for a short exciting drive back to Pokhara. After a great adventure and memorable experience on the Mardi Himal Trek with the grand service of Haven Holidays Nepal.

Travel Guide Nepal

Passport and Visas

Passport Requirements: All travellers visiting Nepal must possess a valid passport with at least six months of validity from their intended departure date. It's recommended to have some extra pages in your passport for entry and exit stamps.

Visa Information: Most foreign nationals require a visa to enter Nepal. There are three main options for obtaining a visa:

Visa on Arrival: The easiest way for many travellers is to obtain a visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu or various land border crossings. You'll need to fill out a visa application form, provide a passport-sized photo, and pay the applicable visa fee in cash (US dollars or equivalent local currency). Visa types include 15, 30, and 90 days, with corresponding fees.

Pre-Arranged Visa: Alternatively, you can apply for a visa through a Nepalese embassy or consulate in your home country before your trip. This can be a good option if you prefer to have everything sorted before arrival.

Most of the people who are travelling in Nepal take help from Travel Guide Nepal and also go with the comprehensive article about Nepal Tourist Visa Info beforehand they depart for their trip in Nepal to celebrate their vacations. If you study these things deeply, you can make your particular trip program in Nepal more exciting and memorable.
