Yes, on the Mardi Himal Trek, there are teahouses along the route where you can charge your electronic devices, such as phones, cameras, and power banks. However, there are a few things to keep in mind:

Charging Facilities:
  • Availability: Charging is generally available at most teahouses in popular stopover points like, Forest Camp, and High Camp.
  • Cost: Be prepared to pay for the charging service. The cost can vary, ranging from NPR 100 to NPR 500 per device, depending on the location and the type of device.
  • Power Source: Charging is typically done via solar power or a generator, which means the speed and reliability of charging may vary. Solar-powered chargers might be slower, especially on cloudy days.
Tips for Charging:
  • Bring a Power Bank: Since power might not always be reliable, carrying a power bank is a good idea to ensure your devices stay charged, especially if you're trekking to higher altitudes where charging might be limited.
