Poonhill-Ghorepani Jeep Ride or Poonhill Jeep Ride takes you up to Ulleri and further Banthanti from where you can directly trek to Ghorepani 3 hours and Poonhill in 3 hours. You can take this jeep ride to Ulleri or Banthanti either directly from Pokhara or partly from Nayapool. Actually, this jeep drive/ride takes you all the way up to Ghorepani during winter and late autumn and only up to Ulleri or Banthanti in Spring and winter, but going directly to Poonhill is not good because of the high altitude. Ghorepani ( 2800m) and Poonhill ( 3210m) sometimes may be adverse for the trekkers. One cannot get Poon HIll jeep ride during summer months as heavy rainfall damages the country roads from Nayapool to Ulleri or Banthnati.
